Garland Smith

I'm a 3D artist with over 20 years’ experience. Classically trained as a sculptor, my early career was spent creating makeup special effects for film on the west coast.  I transitioned my skill to digital effects two decades ago and since then I’ve been both an artist and art director at numerous studios and post-production facilities.

I've created a wide range of 3D stills and animations for clients, including The Carolina Hurricanes; GlaxoSmithKline; Time Warner Cable; UNC's Institute of Science Learning for The Human Genome Project; ZTE and LG among many others.

My background and skill set will provide you with not only an experienced 3D artist, but someone who understands budgets, deadlines and how to interact with your team and clients. 

I live in Westminster Maryland with my wife Stephanie and daughter Zoey.
